Table d'hôtes in Essaouira
The meal
as a ritual
One single, shared table
Each evening, the guests of Atlantis 12 gather around a common table. A unique meal, drawn from Essaouira's threefold culinary heritage - Andalusian, Amazigh and Sephardic - prepared with vegetables from the garden and fresh produce from the market.
Served in the patio in summer, by the fire in winter.
It is often here that the best conversations are born.

Stuffed artichoke, octopus and Atlantic prawns

Couscous with Atlantic prawns

A dish, a story
Jaouhara - crisp leaves, cream, almonds, cinnamon, orange blossom.
Before reigning over Moroccan tables, this dessert had its roots in the art of living of Al-Andalus. Crossing the Mediterranean with the Jewish and Muslim exiles of the 15th century, it reinvented itself in an Amazigh Morocco as a layered poem.
At Atlantis 12, we love telling the story on the plate.

Every morning
The Moroccan breakfast
In the morning, the table is set anew - msemen, baghrir, harcha, fresh bread, honey, jams, eggs from our hens, mint tea...
